Iguana Routing - To/From Message Filters
iNTERFACEWARE continues to deliver advanced features for its HL7 solution, Iguana.
Iguana has provided a great solution for HL7 to database and database to HL7 projects. The enhanced routing features referred to as "To/From Message Filters" provide:
- One or more inbound data sources that can direct HL7 message to a "To Message Filter" Iguana channel which:
- Provides store and forward HL7 message handling
- Provides the means to split the inbound channel into one or more outbound data streams
- Each outbound data stream can be uniquely configured with all the Iguana outbound methods:
- A copy of the original inbound data stream can be filtered and forwarded "as is" to a target destination with all or some messages meeting filter criteria
- A copy can be filtered, parsed and used to populate local and remote databases
- A copy can be filtered, parsed and modified in fine detail with passthru mapping scripting allowing for reformat, removal/addition of HL7 segments, supplements with other data sources, data scrubbing, etc.
The enhanced routing provides many to one, and one to many routing paths.
