Testing the Transformation

To test the scripted transformation:

• Copy the sample ADT message.
• Click Chameleon > Test Transformation. The Transformation window appears.
• Paste the message you copied into the top pane of the Transformation window, and click Transform.

ADT Message Transformed in Real-Time

You will notice that when you paste the message into the top pane of the Transformation window, the scripted transformation changes are reflected in real-time. In addition you will notice that the Input Message has been properly identified as an ADT-A31 Person Update message.

• Repeat this process for the sample lab message.

	When the Auto Transform option is enabled, it will transform messages automatically: (1) When a new message is copied, then pasted into the top pane; or (2) Every two seconds; or (3) When the top pane is modified (whichever comes first).
