Application Issues Related to the New Directory Structure

Generally, any references to the old directory structure (prior to 4.0) at run-time or compile-time (building stubcode) must be changed. For details on specific stubcode changes, see:

For Chameleon applications at compile-time (building stubcode):

• Change all hard-coded references to the directory path, and
• Change IDE references to the directory path (e.g. Visual Studio references, include directories, library directories and CLASSPATH).

For Chameleon applications at run-time:

• Restart applications, services, etc. to pick up changes to the PATH environment variable;
• For Java, update the CLASSPATH environment variable; and
• For all other languages, no change is required.
