Chameleon Python API

Getting to know the Chameleon Python API will help you understand how to write Python scripts for your specific needs. In this section, you will find information about the various methods available on the database object, table object, database result set object and database result set row object. In addition, you will learn about field values, environment variables, delimiter functions, and the global unique ID generator.

Chameleon also provides functions that strip unwanted characters from strings. These functions may be useful when manipulating HL7 message, segment or field data.
