If you are using Chameleon in the Windows Vista environment, the following tips and guidelines may be of use to you:

• On a Windows Vista system, Chameleon should be installed for all users.
• When you are using Chameleon on Windows Vista for the first time, you should run it as an administrator.

	If you do not follow the above recommendations, each user on your system may need to register Chameleon separately. In this case, each user can use the same registration key.

• If you are running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista and you intend to use Chameleon to generate stubcode for an application that will be running on your computer, you will need to install the Chameleon 64-bit runtime environment and verify that your license is valid on your 64-bit computer. • If you are running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista, you must ensure that your PATH environment variable references the directory in which the 64-bit version of Chameleon is installed. This ensures that Chameleon accesses the correct library files.
