Changing the Status of Messages

If a problem ever arose where certain messages did not get sent to your target database, you could resubmit the messages to your database within Iguana. You can easily change the status of each message to either "W" (re-queues the message), or "Hold" (prevents the message from being sent).

To change the status of messages in the queue:

• Click the Routing tab. The Routing page appears.

Viewing the Routing Page

• Under Number of Sub-Channels, click the inbound channel containing the message you want to change the status for. The Inbound Channel Status page appears.
• Under the Status Table, navigate to the message you want to edit. Use the First Page | Prev Page |Next Page | Last Page controls, if necessary.
• Click the Key column of that message. The Message Status screen is displayed. The top of the page shows the entire message (read-only) and the message's current status for the sub-channel (in this case, Queue Test Channel 2).

Viewing the Message Status

• Change the status value of the message to either "W" - Waiting/Queued or "Hold".
• Click Apply to confirm your changes. The message's status value is immediately updated in the status window. The message will get sent when the channel polls for it next. This could take as long as the Poll time you configured for the channel.
