In the Channel name field, specify the name of your channel (e.g. Tutorial).
In the Database API field, use the drop-down menu to select the Database API you will be using (e.g. MySQL).
In the Data source field, specify either the ODBC Data Source name (if you are using an ODBC Database API) or the actual name of your database (if you are using a non-ODBC API).
In the Database username and Database password fields, type in the username and password required for access to the database. This would have been set by the database administrator. In some cases these two fields may be left blank.
In the Number of database reconnection attempts field, specify the number of times you want Iguana to try and reconnect to the database during channel startup, if an initial connection could not be made.
In the Reconnection interval (milliseconds) field, specify the number of milliseconds between reconnection attempts.
In the Automatically purge success logs and status entries older than field, specify in days when logs and status entries will be stale and can be deleted.
