Creating a Segment Group

When you have segments that appear and repeat in the message as a group, they need to be included as a group in the segment grammar. You have to create a group and place the segments into that group (drag-and-drop).

You can add a segment group by:

• Using the Insert Group button at the bottom of the Segment Grammar panel, or
• Using the Insert Group option in the context menu of the Segment Grammar panel.

	Message Libraries Chameleon supplies you with the libraries of all relevant messages that you can import from; thus, eliminating the need to define a message from scratch. In most cases, however, it may be more useful to build up your message definition based on your sample data. This usually results in your message definition being much simpler than the standard definition supplied with Chameleon.
