Error Message: Import Site Failed; Use -V For Traceback

	This section only applies to users using Chameleon versions prior to 4.0 on Windows operating systems.

All Chameleon versions prior to version 4.0 depend on python22.dll, which is installed in the Chameleon install directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\iNTERFACEWARE\Chameleon). This error may occur if you have another python22.dll on your system and this dll is found first, according to the order of the PATH environment variable.

	Note that the screenshots in this section are from Windows 2000. The screens will be similar but slightly different for Windows XP or later operating systems.

To fix this error:

• Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > System. The System Properties window appears.

• Click the Advanced tab, and then click the Environment Variables button. The Environment Variables window appears.
• Under System Variables, scroll down and highlight Path, and click Edit. The Edit System Variable window appears.
• Move the Chameleon install directory variable before the others in the PATH environment variable.
