Examining the Text View

The Text View performs the mappings into your tables, displays the table grammar of the first matching message definition and shows you which data will be mapped out into the selected table. The Text View then displays the extracted data as plain text.

	Before starting, download this sample VMD file that you can use to perform the steps in this section.

To use the Text View:

• Click the Browse icon in the toolbar. The Message Browser appears.
• Click the Table View tab, and check the Text View option.
• Copy and paste the following message into the top pane of the Browser.

• Click the Parse button. The mappings for all of your tables in your table grammar will be displayed.
