Exporting Search Results to a Text File

	The screenshots used in this section are from Firefox. The screens will be slightly different when using other browsers such as Internet Explorer.

Iguana allows you to easily export your search results to a text file that can be used with the HL7 Simulator to retransmit the messages. The search results are limited to 10 days or up to 20,000 records.

To export your search results to a text file:

• Click the Logs tab.
• Click either the channel name under Successes, or channel component name under Errors to load a page that displays the logs summary for that particular category.
• Click the Search Logs link at the top of the page. The Search Logs page appears, as shown below.

• Enter the search criteria (see Searching Logs for details), and click Search. Iguana searches for all messages based on the criteria entered, and the results are displayed.

	If you want to search using just the Timestamp, you must have all date/time fields filled in with reasonable values, or the search will return all results.

Search Results

• Click the Export Logs link at the top of the page to export the search results to a text file. A dialog window appears, asking you if you would like to open the file or save the file to disk.
• Click Save to Disk > OK. Firefox saves the file to your desktop.

You can now use the text file to retransmit the messages using the HL7 Simulator.
