Global Python Overview

The Global Python Overview provides a summary of all Python scripts within a particular VMD file. It displays the scripts in the exact order that they will be executed, as shown below:

• Global inbound scripts;
• Segment inbound scripts;
• Segment Python validation rules;
• Table inbound scripts;
• Global outbound preprocess script;
• Transformation script;
• Table outbound scripts;
• Segment outbound scripts; and
• Global post process script.

Viewing the Global Python Overview

To view the Global Python Overview:

• Click Chameleon > Global Python Overview. The Global Python Overview window appears, as shown below. Alternatively, you can click F8 on your keyboard.

	If you check the Scripted Transformation option in the Transformation window (called the Test Mapping window in versions prior to 3.3.184), the Notes option becomes available in the Global Python Overview window. Notes are shown for each Python script, indicating whether the Python script is executed, or under what conditions a particular script is executed for scripted transformation.
