The hardware system requirements listed below should only be used as a bare-minimum guide. To get a more accurate picture, you should calculate your system requirements using a combination of system monitoring tools and the expected highest load of messages.
The minimum recommended system requirements for running Iguana are as follows:

Memory
512 MB of RAM; 1 GB or more recommended.
Hard disk
Hard disk space requirements will vary depending on the volume of messages you are expecting. If you need to get a more accurate assessment of your hard disk requirements, please see Determining Your System Requirements.
Operating System
Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows NT 4.0, Windows Server 2008, Mac OS X, Solaris, AIX, Linux or HPUX.
Web Browser
Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Firefox 3.5 and above, Safari 3.0 and above, Google Chrome 1.0. For best performance, we recommend using Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 8.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7.0, or a legacy version of Iguana for which Internet Explorer 6
is supported, you will need to enable ActiveX on your browser. In these browsers, the AJAX
code that Iguana uses to implement some of its features requires the use of
the Microsoft.XMLHTTP ActiveX component.
