HL7 <-> XML Tutorial

Iguana's XML components, along with Chameleon's supported XML translation schemes, allow you to translate between HL7 and XML very easily. In this tutorial, you will learn how to do the following:

  • Acquire some sample messages;
  • Set up the VMD file you need to translate between XML and HL7;
  • Test the XML functionality using Chameleon's XML Translation window; and
  • Translate between HL7 and XML, using Iguana's XML components.

Each message that is translated into XML will placed in an individual file.
