Inbound Channel Table

On the Routing Page there are two tables of information called the Inbound Channel Table and Outbound Sub-Channel Table. Both of these tables display information relating to the channels that use the inbound (to message filter) and outbound (from message filter) message filter components.

Inbound Channel Table

The Inbound Channel table contains four columns of information:

• Channel: The name of the inbound message filter channel.
• Source Type: The source component of the channel, which specifies where your data is coming from. This could be from a Database, LLP Listener, File, Client Executable or even another Message Filter.
• Number of Sub-Channels: The number of sub-channels associated with the message filter channel. In the screenshot above, there are three sub-channels. This indicates that the data is being filtered out and sent to three target destinations. The second number is the Number of Outgoing Filters setting for the channel. It represents the total number of sub-channels possible.
• Total Messages: This indicates the total number of entries in the Status table. In the screenshot above there are 26 x 3 entries.
