This section shows you how to install Iguana on a Windows or Unix system.

If you are upgrading from Iguana 3.3 to Iguana 4.0 or later, you do not need to uninstall Iguana 3.3 before installing the new version of Iguana. If you are using Windows, the Iguana installer will automatically upgrade your Iguana server to the new version. See Upgrading Iguana in Windows for details on how to upgrade an existing Windows installation of Iguana, or Upgrading Iguana in Unix, Linux or Mac OS X for details on how to upgrade an existing installation of Iguana in any other operating system. | ||

If you are installing Iguana 4.0 or later, you can configure your server to ensure that all of your files and data can be easily saved using a version control or change management system. You can also store the application, its configuration information and its data on separate partitions or hard drives.
