Mapping the Created Tables

The next step is to add the created tables to the Table Grammar for each configuration format, and then map the tables.

To add the table to the table grammar, and map it:

• Switch to the incoming configuration.
• Under Order (Order Message), double-click Message Grammar. The Message Grammar window appears.
• Under Tables, click and drag MSHTable into the Table Grammar panel, as shown below.

You will notice that the MSHTable has an error. It has an error because you have not set the grammar root yet.

To set the grammar root for the MSHTable:

• Select MSHTable, and click the ellipsis button under Grammar Root. The Grammar Root Selection window appears.
• Select MSH (Message Header), and click OK.

• Click the Edit Mappings button. The Table Mappings window appears.
• Select 7 - Date/Time of Message, and drag it under the Mapping column for the Date_Time_of_Message field.
• Select 10 - Message Control ID, and drag it under the Mapping column for the Message Control ID field.

The Table Mapping window should resemble the one below:

	Switch to the outgoing configuration, and set the grammar root to Message (Message Header) in the Table Grammar. The fields will be automatically mapped.
