Message Delimiters

The Message Delimiters tab is one of the most useful configuration options that you will use on a day-to-day basis. Each option is described in the screenshot below:

The Message Delimiters tab also describes the parsing rules for the engine. This is where you configure what characters should be used to delimit parts of the message. For more information, see Delimiter Characters.

	Most of the options available for the Message Delimiters tab are greyed out until the configuration is changed to Custom. This then allows you to select non-standard delimiter settings.
