Creating Another Configuration

The first step you must take to accommodate the new message type is to create the second configuration. This allows you to build different segment grammars for each type of message.

To create another configuration:

  • Open the VMD file you downloaded above.
  • Click the Configuration ellipsis(...) button beside Acme Medical.

  • In the Chameleon Configurations window, click Add. The Add New Configuration window appears.
  • In the Configuration name field, type Magic Health Systems Inc..
  • Leave the Copy settings from field as Acme Medical.

  • Click OK to confirm. Magic Health Systems appears in the Chameleon Configurations window.

The next step is to edit the Magic Health Systems configuration.
