Option 2 - Finding the Machine ID From the Command Line

From the command line, you can use the msgtransform utility to find the Machine ID:

Open a command prompt window.
Type msgtransform --version to display the Machine ID and version number:

C:\> msgtransform --version
Machine Id: OEELKMEIAA
Current Locale: English_United States.1252
Engine Version: 5.0 Build: 3
