Getting a Permanent Chameleon License

Once the Chameleon software is paid for, your members account will be updated and you will be able to generate your own permanent license key using your Machine ID.

To get a permanent license key:

• Log into your member's account at http://members.interfaceware.com/myInterfaceware/index.html. The Members page appears.

• On the Members page, click Registration Codes. The Your Registrations Codes page appears.

• Click get beside Chameleon Development in order to obtain a permanent license key.

Getting a Chameleon License

• In the Description field, type in a short description of who will be using the license.
• In the Machine ID field, enter the machine ID of the computer you wish to run Chameleon on.

Machine ID

	The Machine ID is unique to the computer that you run Chameleon on and is case-sensitive. Whenever requesting a non-expiring key from iNTERFACEWARE support, you must provide it for the machines that you wish to license. If you try and use the registration key intended for one machine on another, it will not work. For instructions on how to find your machine ID, see Finding the Machine ID.

After you complete the registration, the following screen appears:

• Copy the new registration code, and paste it into the Registration Code field, as shown below.

• Make sure to check the No Expiry Date checkbox. An Information dialog window appears, confirming that the Registration was successful.
• Click OK to close the dialog box. Chameleon opens and the New Project window appears.
