Viewing a Summary of Python Scripts

The Python Overview windows display a summary of all Python scripts used within tables and segments for a particular VMD file. There are three windows in total:

• Global Python Overview: Provides a summary (inbound and outbound) of all Python scripts within a VMD file.
• Inbound Python Overview: Provides a summary of all inbound Python scripts executed for a particular message, segment or table.
• Outbound Python Overview: Provides a summary of all outbound Python scripts executed for a particular message, segment or table.

Right-clicking inside each window enables you to perform standard functions, including:

• Check Syntax: Check the syntax of all Python scripts within the window.
• Copy: Copy a selection or all the scripts inside the window.
• Select All: Select all Python scripts within the window.
• Find: Find text within the window.
• Find Next: Find the next occurrence of text you are searching for.
• Help: Shortcut to the compiled HTML Help manual.
