Repeating the Steps For the Outgoing Configuration

The next step is to repeat all the steps you did for the incoming configuration for the outgoing configuration.

	Remember to use the second message because that's the message you are transforming the first message into.

You must repeat the following steps for the outgoing configuration:

• Using the Message Browser to View Messages - Use the Message Browser to view the second message.
• Importing Unrecognized Segments - Import unrecognized segments for the second message.
• Creating the Message Definition - This time, use the same message definition but define the outgoing message instead. You must change the identity values to ORM and O01 in the Identity window. Make sure you switch the configuration to outgoing before changing the identity values.
• Adding Segments to the Message's Segment Grammar - Add the segments you imported to the outgoing message's segment grammar. Remember that you must remove the AIG and SCH segments from the segment grammar since they do not appear in the second message. The segment order for the second message should be as follows: MSH, EVN, PID, PV1 and OBR.
