Resubmitting Messages

The HL7 message may be modified and resubmitted to the channel for re-processing.

To resubmit a message that has been modified:

• Click the Logs tab.
• Click either the channel name under Successes, or channel component name under Errors, to load a page that displays the log summary for that particular category.
• In the Key column select the message you want to modify and resubmit. Two text boxes appear called Message and Debug Output. Use the Message text box to edit the message.
• After modifying the message, click the Preview Resubmit link. The Resubmission Preview window appears.

• If the Resubmission Preview looks okay, click Confirm Resubmit. Iguana begins processing the resubmission request.

	If the preview displays a list of SQL statements, do not be alarmed if the SQL statements do not have values in them: Iguana performs SQL binding on all databases except MySQL (which only supports binding in the currently "gamma" 4.1 version), and the placeholders shown will be replaced by actual values when the database processes the SQL statements.

• Click Update Resubmission Status. A message appears, confirming that the message was resubmitted successfully.
