Step 1 - Setting Up the Channels

The first step is to set up your channels. This section shows you how to take HL7 data, filter it through a message filter and route it to an LLP client and to a file. Since you will be routing HL7 messages to two sub-channel destinations, you need to create three channels:

• Channel 1: LLP Listener to Message Filter
• Channel 2: Message Filter to LLP Client
• Channel 3: Message Filter to File.

	Before starting, ensure that the Iguana service is started and that you are logged into the web interface as described in Starting Iguana.
