Step 2 - Converting Back To HL7 Using the XML Translation Window

To convert the message back to HL7:

  • In the XML Translation window, select the XML -> HL7 tab.
  • Copy and paste the XML message into the top pane of the XML Translation window.
  • Click the Translate button to translate the message back to HL7.

Converted Message in XML Format

Ensure that the XML Translation Scheme (available by clicking Change in the XML Translation window) is the same for both Convert Message To XML and Convert XML To Message. Otherwise, the XML message will not be in the correct format.
