Step 2 - Importing a Segment From the Library

For most messages, the only segment that is required in order to identify the message type is the standard (library) MSH segment.

To import the MSH segment:

  • Click Chameleon > Import Segments From Library. The Import Segments From Library window appears.
  • Select the library you wish to import the segment definitions from, and click Next.
  • Select the MSH segment checkbox, and click Next > Finish to complete the task.
