Step 3 - Creating a Table and Adding it to the Table Grammar

To create a table and add it to the table grammar:

• Click the Table icon on the toolbar. Rename this table Patient Demographics.
• Open the Message Grammar of your defined message, and drag the Patient Demographics table into the Table Grammar panel.

• Select the table, click the ellipsis button under Grammar Root, and choose the PID (Patient Identification) segment.
