Using the Message Browser to Test Parsed Messages

To use the Message Browser:

  • Copy the following message:

  • Click the Browse icon on the toolbar to open the Message Browser. The Message Browser appears.
  • Paste the sample message you copied into the top pane of the Message Browser.
  • Click the Table View tab, and choose Text View.
  • Click the Parse button.

Performing a Parse

You will immediately notice that the bottom panel shows that you have not mapped any data. The next step is to create a PID table to capture the data you want from the PID segment.
