Batch Processing HL7

Iguana Users

You can configure the From File component in Iguana to handle the header and footer segments that appear in your batch file. For more information, see the description of the Iguana 4.0 version of From File or the implementation of From File in older versions of Iguana.

Another way that HL7 messages are often processed is through batch processing. Batch processing involves sending files via the FTP protocol or as email attachments. Currently, there is no standard delivery mechanism.

An HL7 batch message set might typically look like this:
