Tutorial Overview

In this tutorial, you will be designing an application that consumes HL7 messages.

Rather than simply reading through this tutorial, it is recommended that you download a trial version of Chameleon and follow the steps of this tutorial from start to finish. The tutorial should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

	Note that another tutorial, Application to HL7, discusses the design of an application that generates HL7 messages. Much of what is discussed in this section will be relevant to both kinds of applications.
