Chameleon Unix Environment |
The following table describes all the variables that need to be set in Unix:

| General | CHM_PYTHON_LIB_PATH | Path to Python files | <InstallDir>/chameleon/python_lib |
| Java (run- and compile-time) | CLASSPATH | Java classpath, needs to contain Chameleon's Java component | <InstallDir>/chameleon/java/classes.jar |
| Java (run-time) | LD_LIBRARY_PATH | Path to shared object required by Chameleon's Java component | <InstallDir>/chameleon/java You may also need to include the /usr/local/lib directory. |
| C++ (compile-time) | CHM_PATH | Path to Chameleon directory | <InstallDir>/chameleon |
| C++ (compile-time) | CHM_PLATFORM | Platform for makefiles | name of any of the makefiles in <InstallDir>/chameleon/admin |
