Python Initialization Files

The Python Initialization files are stored in the python_lib directory under the Chameleon installation directory. These files can be assigned to a directory called ./python_lib.

Alternatively, another technique is to put them into another directory and use the environmental variable CHM_PYTHON_LIB_PATH to tell the Chameleon library where to locate these files.

	It is very important that the file permissions for these python initialization files are set correctly. The user account that your HL7 program is running under must be able to have read access to both the directory and the files in the directory. Also, the user must be able to write the pre-compiled form of these initialization files into the directory.
