Using the HL7 Listener

You will use the HL7 Listener tool to listen for generated messages.

To use the HL7 Listener:

Open the HL7 Listener application. (To access it, click Start, then Programs, iNTERFACEWARE, HL7 Analytical Tools and HL7 Listener.)
In the Message log file field, specify a message log file to which incoming messages will be written.
In the Port Number field, type the port number you specified in Configuring the LLP Client Destination Component.
Click Start to begin listening for messages.
