Viewing the Channel Statistics

From the Routing page you can access the statistics for any channel currently utilizing the message filter components. The statistical information varies slightly, depending on what type of channel you are viewing (inbound or outbound).

To view the channel statistics:

• Click the Routing tab. The Routing page is displayed.
• Under Number of Sub-Channels or Filter Index (Sub-Channel ID#), click the channel you want to view statistics for. A statistics page appears for the selected Inbound or Outbound Channel, as shown below.

Inbound Channel Statistics (To Message Filter)

The inbound channel has the following statistics:

• Source Type: Source component of the channel, which specifies where your data is coming from.
• Number of Sub-Channels: Number of sub-channels associated with the inbound channel.
• Total Messages: Total count of all messages in the Status table.
• Total Entries: Total count of all entries in the Status table for all sub-channels.
• "W" - Waiting/Queued Entries: Total number of entries waiting to be processed for all sub-channels.
• "Success" Entries: Total number of successfully processed messages for all sub-channels.
• "P" - Partially Processed Entries: Total number of messages partially processed, which indicates what messages were not completely processed for all sub-channels. This typically occurs when a channel is abnormally stopped.
• "Hold" Entries": Total number of held messages for all sub-channels (i.e. message with status changed to prevent it from being sent).
• "Message was Ignored" Entries: Total number of ignored messages for all sub-channels (i.e. specified on the channel's Ignored Messages list).
• "Message was Already Deleted" Entries: Total number of deleted messages for all sub-channels before an attempt to send them.
• Other Entries: Total number of other messages for all sub-channels (e.g. error messages).

Outbound Channel Statistics

Outbound Channel Statistics (From Message Filter)

The outbound channel has the following statistics:

• Destination Type: Destination component of the channel, which specifies where your data is going.
• Filter Index (sub-channel ID#): The sub-channel ID number used by the inbound message filter channel.
• Total Entries: Total count of all entries in the Status table.
• "W" - Waiting/Queued Entries: Total number of entries waiting to be processed.
• "Success" Entries: Total number of successfully processed messages.
• "P" - Partially Processed Entries: Total number of messages partially processed, which indicates what messages were not completely processed. This typically occurs when a channel is abnormally stopped.
• "Hold" Entries": Total number of held messages (i.e. message with status changed to prevent it from being sent).
