Workspace Menu

The following table describes the functionality available from the Workspace menu:

Menu Item	Sub-Menu Item	Sub-Sub Menu Item	Function
Workspace	New	Message	Creates a blank message definition. The new message definition appears in the Workspace.
		Table	Creates a blank table definition. The new table appears in the Workspace.
		Segment	Creates a blank segment definition. The new segment appears in the Workspace.
		Composite	Creates a blank composite definition. The new composite appears in the Workspace.
		Date Time Format	Creates a new Date Time Format definition. The new Date Time Format appears in the Workspace.
	Import Message Definition From Library		Opens the Import Message Definition From Library window. The Message Definition Library can be used to import a new message from the list of pre-defined messages supplied with Chameleon or even from your own VMD files.
	Import Table From Library		Opens the Import Table From Library window. The Table Library can be used to import a new table from a list of pre-defined tables supplied with Chameleon or even from your own VMD files.
	Import Tables From Database		Opens the Database Table Importing Wizard. The wizard allows you to import database table definitions from existing VMD files for use with Iguana.
	Import Segments From Library		Opens the Import Segments From Library window. The Segment Library can be used to import from an official list of HL7 segment supplied with Chameleon or even from your own VMD files.
	Message Definition Matching Order		Opens the Message Definition Matching Order window. This window can be used to modify the order in which messages are identified by Chameleon, or to define a default message.
