Eliot's Commercial Products are not Free

If you choose to stop paying for Eliot's software and continue to use it in production in a context when you are making money from the software then you can expect to have problems.

There are some things that Eliot gives to the community - like the source code for Iguana X because it's not reliable enough in a production context so what the hell.

But classic Iguana and Chameleon are not free and you are expected to negotiate in good faith with Eliot and if you are too much trouble or represent too much business risk because you do not manage to use Iguana in a responsible way then Eliot reserves the right to say - no.

You need to take my products completely out of production and go and use another product.

That means completely not just when it suits you because you are busy.

If you are using my commercial products in a production context making money then you will need to pay. You are welcome to rewrite your interfaces and use say Mirth but understand that there are security costs associated with this reckless choice.

Eliot reserves the right to enforce his legitimate property rights in any way he chooses to. He believes this is fair.
