Responsibility

I feel a deep moral responsibility to honor and protect the trust my customers have placed in me over the years.

This commitment inspires me to thoughtfully refine both Iguana 6 and Iguana X. My aim is to make both codebases easier to maintain by gently removing complexities that might hinder their ongoing development.

Recently, some customers have inquired about access to the Chameleon source code. I’m open to having that conversation if that’s truly what they need. However, my top priority is to support our loyal customers—those who continue to rely on us for the future.

I ask for your understanding as I focus on what will benefit everyone most. Right now, that means dedicating my time to ensuring a smooth migration path for users of both Iguana 6 and Iguana X, as well as for Chameleon customers. All these efforts are connected—at their core, they’re about solving a common challenge. My long-term vision is to ultimately bring everything together into one unified product.

I’ve always considered myself a finisher. I recall the determination that carried me through my master’s thesis—seeing it through to the end, no matter the challenges.

That’s my guiding principle: I always finish what I start, and above all, I will fulfill the responsibility I have taken on.

I created this infrastructure software—and I am committed to seeing it through. That is the core of what made me and my organization a better partner the churn you get from products from larger companies.

It's not glamorous work by most people's standards but for me there is a quiet joy in taking pride in my work and craftmanship and making a simple product that my customers can rely on.

It would have been better for me financially to have sold out years ago but I always cared deeply about my products and my customers. I have always put those first. Perhaps I should be more selfish but I that has never been my priority. Almost 30 years working on these products. Almost unheard of in technology.
