Global leader in plasma collection and biotherapies
CSL Plasma is one of the world's largest collectors of human plasma, supporting the development of life-saving therapies for individuals with rare and serious medical conditions. With a global network of donation centers, CSL requires dependable and efficient data integration to manage donor, lab, and manufacturing workflows.
Initially relying on NextGen for interface development, CSL encountered delays and solutions that did not fully meet their operational requirements. They turned directly to iNTERFACEWARE to implement a more robust approach, leading to the deployment of Iguana in a high availability architecture.
In 2017, iNTERFACEWARE’s CS team collaborated with CSL's developers to deliver the company's first Linux-based Iguana HA solution, using NetScaler for load balancing. The project was implemented smoothly and has proven highly stable and reliable in the years since.
Today, CSL uses Iguana to power a growing number of interfaces using XML over FTP and Web Services, supporting data exchange across their critical plasma collection and processing systems. Iguana provides the speed, reliability, and deployment flexibility needed to maintain CSL's global operations and compliance standards.
CSL reports no issues with failover or stability, and their satisfaction is clear:
"Iguana has helped us solve innumerable problems over the years and continues to do so."
