Vaccination management platform for providers and practices
VaxCare, based in Orlando, Florida, offers a comprehensive platform that modernizes vaccine delivery, inventory management, and billing for physicians, healthcare providers, health systems, and public institutions. By automating the vaccine supply chain and streamlining payment processes, VaxCare helps increase immunization rates while reducing the administrative overhead that often burdens clinical teams.
Since 2011, VaxCare has relied on Iguana to power real-time data exchange between its internal systems and an expansive network of external partners, including more than 500 EHRs, payers, health departments, and distributors. Iguana processes and routes HL7 and EDI messages to deliver patient demographics, visit records, insurance information, and vaccine orders to and from VaxCare's core platform.
Message processing is distributed across Iguana and VaxCare's custom-built .NET applications, allowing integration logic to be coordinated seamlessly between external systems and internal business services. This flexible architecture enables VaxCare to automate critical workflows, minimize billing and reimbursement delays, and maintain up-to-date records across a highly distributed healthcare ecosystem.
To ensure performance and minimize downtime, VaxCare has implemented a High Availability deployment of Iguana in the cloud. iNTERFACEWARE has supported this evolution with enterprise licensing, architecture guidance, hands-on training, and technical expertise. Current collaboration efforts are focused on enhancing observability through log archiving and multi-instance resource monitoring as the company continues to scale.
With Iguana at the center of its integration strategy, VaxCare remains a trusted partner in public health, ensuring vaccine accessibility and operational efficiency for communities across the country.
