Ah, the men in blue. Their job is undeniably difficult, particularly when society faces sensitive topics like incest and rape. If, like me, you're neurodivergent or someone inclined to ask uncomfortable questions, it can seem almost inevitable to find yourself interacting with this part of society.
But how do we expect the police to deal with an epidemic of complex social issues? And just what is it that's driving these problems?
Why are there so many challenges facing the police today? What are the institutional beliefs and limitations within police organizations that might be holding them back?
Ultimately, what should their focus be?
