Truth

In the end, there can only be one truth.

I often find myself in conflict due to my stubborn insistence on embracing the truth, which puts me at odds with those who prefer it easier to lie.

There cannot be two truths, except sometimes there might be a gray area or ambiguity. An electron is both a wave and a particle—a paradox. Paradoxes in our minds hint at a deeper truth that we don't yet understand.

Perhaps when we consider things like comments in code, we see the tragedy of human nature, which lies between how things are and how we wish they were.

I prefer to focus on how things are, but I also think about how things could be. I imagine a world where truth becomes the norm.

The thing about truth is that it's the only constant in the end.

Deceit is like technical debt or unmaintainable code—it doesn't work. It results in systematic failure. If you see mental illness, look for the lies in the system around the person who's ill and you'll see what created the illness.

Only truth can set you free.

However, truth-telling can be very painful.
